Problem:

We are using OptimiDoc version 8 now. We would like to upgrade OD to version 9.

Solution:

1. Contact our support at email address support@optimidoc.com. We will must update your license.

2. We will generate the new license key with support of ABBYY Fre 12.

If i have the new licence key:

3. Please create a back up of local database files

4. Deactivate the ABBYY licence by licencemanager.exe (OptimiDoc/OCR/Bin64/licencemanager.exe)

3. Install OptimiDoc version 9.00 via installer from Partner portal.

3. Activate your license - Online or Offline

How to create a back up copies of local DB files?

a) Start Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager and stop OptimiDoc website.

b) Open the folder <OptimiDoc>/WebApp/App_Data.

c) Copy the two files with suffix .mdf and .ldf.
